1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Stratism Solutions (Pty) Ltd online learning platform (“the Platform”). By registering for a course, purchasing any service, or accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Stratism Solutions (Pty) Ltd (“Stratism”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides SETA-accredited training and related services to individual and corporate learners.

2. Services

Stratism offers accredited online and blended training programmes through the Moodle learning management system. All courses, materials, and assessments are the property of Stratism Solutions (Pty) Ltd unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any course or service at our discretion.

3. Registration and Accounts

To enrol in a course, you may be required to create a learner account on our Platform.
You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information during registration;

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials; and

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Stratism reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse or academic dishonesty is detected.

4. Pricing and Payment

All course fees are clearly stated on the Platform or in official quotations.
Payments are processed securely via PayFast, our approved payment gateway.
Accepted payment methods include debit/credit card, Instant EFT, and other options supported by PayFast.

All amounts are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
Access to course materials is granted only once full payment has been received and verified.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds will only be considered under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation within 7 days of payment and before accessing any course materials; or

  • Course cancellation by Stratism due to unforeseen circumstances.

Refunds are processed via the same payment method used, and may take up to 10 business days to reflect.
No refunds will be issued once training content has been accessed or assessments attempted.

6. Accreditation and Certification

All courses offered by Stratism Solutions (Pty) Ltd are SETA-accredited where indicated.
Learners who successfully complete all course requirements will receive the appropriate certificate of competence or attendance.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, documentation, and resources remain the intellectual property of Stratism Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
No content may be copied, shared, resold, or distributed without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Stratism Solutions (Pty) Ltd and its staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or training materials.
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance.

9. Privacy

All personal information is handled in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Learner data will not be sold, shared, or distributed to third parties except as required for accreditation, certification, or legal compliance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
